When people are asked, “Why can’t you…” one frequent answer is, “Because the prophet said not to.” This leads to the question, “Why should I Follow the Prophet?”
This is a very important question. And there are several good answers. We’ve posted some here. And we especially like analogy that Elder Neil L. Andersen uses:
